My Journey towards Enlightenment

I just began my journey into enlightenment...

One day I was in the new age section of a book store with my girlfriend when I stumbled upon a book called "The Power of Now" by Eckart Tolle.

I have been doing my best to keep up with all the methods to help achieve enlightenment and have found it exhausting but liberating.

The Past, Now and the Future

Hi Adam,

Glad to hear you are enjoying "The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle.

I have read a lot of books, but that is one I haven't gotten to yet.

Could you tell us more about it? I would love to hear your "review" of it...

My personal experience with focusing on the past is it tends to keep things the way they are...

Maybe that's what you want and maybe that's not what you want...

The future can sometimes feel scary because it's unknown...no one really knows what is going to happen out there in the future.

Now on the other hand is great. I can choose how I am now.

I can't change anything about yesterday and tomorrow isn't here yet, but NOW I can look at my life or anything differently...

Now is where all change occurs. Now is where all choices are made.
